| This was a
major project for The Grating Company involving many hundreds of
square metres of mini-mesh fibreglass grating and hundreds of
TreadGrip stair tread covers.
Steel gratings
were replaced with fibreglass gratings resulting in a considerable
weight saving which was very important.
The finished
floor is corrosion resistant, lightweight, anti-slip and has a Class
1 fire test certificate to BS 476 Part 7 which is of vital
importance in this particular environment.
